Shivalayam Temple: The shiva linga in this temple may have been worshipped by sage Agastya, so this temple is also called Agastheswara swami temple. This temple is main temple in proddatur town and it located in middle of the town. Maha-Kavi,Saraswati Putra Putta Parthi Narayanacharya wrote his famous work "Shiva Tanadavam" in this temple.The main festival celebrated is Vijaya Dashami (Dasara).


Rameshwaram Temple: This temple is located on the south side of the town and is called Dakshina Kashi.


Ayyappa Swami Temple: This temple is located on the north side of town near the Penna river.


Kanyaka Parameswari Aalayam (Amma Vari Shala): This temple is located in Yerraguntla Road.


Chenna Kesava Swamy Temple: This temple is located in Rajabata Veedhi.


Sai Baba Temple: These two temples are in Rameshwaram road and another in Y.M.R colony.


Lord Venkateswara Temple: This temple is located in Bollavaram on the way to Jammalamadugu.


Raja Rajeswari Swami Temple:This Temple Is located in Sastry Nagar on the way to Jammalamadugu.


Sri Ramalayam Temple: This is located in Dwaraka Nagar(Acharla colony) on the way to Saraswathi vidyamandir road.
